Pacing repeatedly, forming a pattern across the floor,

Staring unintentionally at the unopened door,

Strained wrists, both fists clinched ever so tightly,

Apathy defines me, aggravated with no interest in writing,

Can’t begin to conquer the dream of falling asleep,

No hunger, no thirst, forcing myself to eat and drink,

Curiosity of my future, my path, my purpose in life,

Daydreaming steadily, from sunlight to moonlight,

Praying, hoping wishing, for a fragment of positive news,

Internally my heart, my soul, sing in melancholy, the “Blues”.
